I believe that while some of the people who voted for Donald Trump may not consciously be racist or sexist, racism and sexism was clearly not a deal-breaker for them in a candidate. I guess it would be like someone saying to a Jewish person, "This time I had to go with the Neo-Nazi candidate, but we're still good, right ?" Nobody would be confused if the Jewish person said, "No, we're really [b]not[/b]." So I don't understand why people are confused about this. It really was a wake-up call to me about my countrymen. Maybe the fact that there [b]are[/b] some things I can't accept make me part of the problem in my country. But I'd rather be part of [b]that[/b] problem than an enabler who's perpetuating an older problem here.
