I Feel Empathy For Others When They Have Been Hurt

Listening... Have I forgotten to learn from the people around me?
In my quest for ob<x>jectivity,am I closing myself off?
Have I stopped listening?
Any human being has the potential of being an enriching moment,
or an empty gesture.
It is our choice that makes the difference.
I will try today to listen with a third ear.
I will be in tune with the people that surround me
and will grasp every opportunity to learn,to grow.
I pray for receptivity so I may receive as much as I give away.
