I Am a Hippie At Heart

When I was in high school, I was punk and that continued throughout the military. But when I got out and had to adapt to civilian life, I became a conformist. I had to in order to provide. I'm now in a transition period of returning to punk, while embracing the hippie lifestyle. I'm a punk-hippie hybrid. It's pretty darn cool.

I lived at a house full of people at the corner of Haight St and Masonic in San Francisco and also in Berkeley during the years 1966 thru 1969. I worked at the Oracle and knew a lot of people whose names you might know. It was certainly an interesting time to understate it considerably.

It amazed and delights me that a few young people today are still interested in the hippie philosophy and lifestyle. Thanks for making me feel better. Due to health reasons, I am having a rough day. Your post really helped. Peace.

Hehe... I wasn't a punk in school, people called me a hippy but there were very few of us hippies so the punk crowd was who I hung out with. We probably would have been friends :)
