I Meh

why is it so weird of me being content with not going out or having tons of friends or a tons of bfs . idk i was married for about 4 years and I've been single since nov 2016 . i think it's ok for me not caring about mingling and having so many friends . the town i live at is crap it's not easy to meet actual decent people here also it seems like i can't get along with other women due to them being hateful towards me and i haven't dated anyone yet because i feel no one around is really decent or worth it . my dad finds it sad that all i do is work and stay home he thinks it's unhealthy but he doesn't get that it's not very easy for me to just go out and make new friends . i also deal with cat calls and street harassment on a daily basis it sucks .

Ever since I've been single, (April 2017) I've been going out and meeting new friends. It takes a toll on you though honestly. You kind of lose track on what goals you want to make and the things that you want to do.

So I've separated myself with the hanging out with friends for a while.

Join a club, or volunteer!

I go out by myself, I treat myself with a movie or go out to eat or something. It's nice to do! You should totally try this, you won't regret it, plus you won't be wasting your time because at least you won't be at home.

Discover things you like on your own. As for catcalls and harassment? That's always going to be like that, you just have to ALWAYS carry pepper spray or something to protect you. Don't go out at night or anything, you know?

Go out and enjoy yourself, or join a club, yoga, book club, something that you know you'll start chatting with people.
