I Love My Mom She Is My Bestfriend
A poem for my best friend and the one who helped saved me from myself
A Mother's Love
When voiceless,
You were the sound and voice to my silence,
It has not gone unnoticed.
When dark and in gray shades,
You were my light and color,
When tidal waves got abundant,
You were my land and beach to crash on.
Slowly,
I found my words again,
Slowly,
I found my own voice and sound,
Slowly,
I found my own light,
Discovered my own colors.
Slowly,
I found my own beaches to crash upon.
Thank you for being the only thing holding me to the ground.
My gravity that is never lessened,
My gravity that knows no bounds.
A Mother's Love
When voiceless,
You were the sound and voice to my silence,
It has not gone unnoticed.
When dark and in gray shades,
You were my light and color,
When tidal waves got abundant,
You were my land and beach to crash on.
Slowly,
I found my words again,
Slowly,
I found my own voice and sound,
Slowly,
I found my own light,
Discovered my own colors.
Slowly,
I found my own beaches to crash upon.
Thank you for being the only thing holding me to the ground.
My gravity that is never lessened,
My gravity that knows no bounds.
