I Love Romance, Love Being In Love, Want To Fall In Love Again

Though I am not ready,

I may have to let go,

I may have to forget that true love exists.

Pure and true love that sacrifices all and survives temptation.

His words were right; actions oozed with love.

He reassured me.

He helped me.

He was there.

Until he slipped up, and the great lesson began:

That maybe I am way too naive;

That a man can lead two lives- one for your eyes, and the other entirely for himself;

That a man can bring you roses but be in another woman's bed by nightfall;

That a man can lie next to you daily but be full of deceit;

That a man can seek your hand but yet have no plans to leave other women behind.

That a man can hide so well what he knows you will not tolerate.

So the great realization for me:

Maybe faithful and devoted men are a figment of my imagination.

And I may have to let go of the vision of the man I see in my dreams.

Because I will never know the difference.
