I Love Great Movie Scenes

Years ago, my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart...I recommend pleasant. You may quote me. -- Elwood P. Dowd, "Harvey"

I loved that movie. Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite classic actors and an icon

He's fabulous. I stumbled upon Vertigo on Turner Classic Movies last night. It's good, but as for his collaborations with Hitchcock go, I like Rear Window and Rope better.

He wasn't too bad in "The Man who knew too much" which was another Hitchcock film with Doris Day singing "Que Sera Sera" Classic

@LipstickandHeels: It was on TCM a few nights ago. I wouldn't miss it for the world :)

Love TCM. Have you seen that they have partnered with Fathom Events to screen a bunch of the classics in movie theaters all over the country? I saw Singin in the Rain in January and was totally unprepared for how different it would feel on the big screen. On the 5th and the 8th of this month is All About Eve (Fasten your seatbelts - it's going to be a bumpy night.)
