I Can Not Stand Child Abuse

Her abuse isn't so bad now and reporting it will do nothing where I live. I protect her as best as I can.

If your sister is being abused please be her voice, and if you can't please help her to talk to a trusted adult, or to report it to the authorities.

And you live somewhere that no one can or will do anything? That's horrifying.

They claim they'll do something.. But my sister reported hers.. He was convicted on molesting his sisters. He did it to my sister the worst. God, it was so bad. But he got counseling and had to go to a boy's home for six months. Now that he's 18? He's living with his sisters and can come around my sister whenever. Her restraining order doesn't even do much good.

I don't know you or your sister, but I am glad things are getting better somehow but your profile says you are in the US so there has got to be someone that can help if it comes to that, a teacher even, sometimes people you generally wouldn't think of.

Oh, Holley. I am so sorry. Was this abuse at the hands of parents or child care providers. I wish people who are supposed tor protect and care for kids would do so.

@Serenitree: Mine was a stranger then a stepparent. Hers was/is a lot of people. I wish they would too.
