@rckt148 More the meat and potatoes type .. but I do like a nice piece of pecan pie

@Stillwaiting I have to put my dentures in for the nuts
but my kids all make killer scratch pecan pies
I hate shelling them (we have a lot of pecan trees around here ,you can get a 5 gal bucket of them in just a few min with a rake beside the road )
But since its cool I have a friend that gets limes actually from Key West
and everyone has pumpkins ,,so this time of year I get to see a lot of real pies ,not heat and serve from the store .so I love when my kids bake
They always make sure Dad gets his own pies ,,
