I Want to Be Appreciated

Sometimes it just feels that you put in so much effort but it goes unappreciated.

Sometimes you wonder why you try so hard... but there's that small niggle of hope that keeps you trying.

I know what you mean. Even after things were over over over for me and Ex I couldn’t help but keep doing small things around the house, not necessarily for her specifically, but still hoping she’d notice and appreciate my efforts.
