I Hate My Cell Phone But I Love My Cell Phone

Cell phones, mobile phones... no more roaming, it's like you're always home. Everything you own is on that phone: appointments, dates, pictures, addresses, phone book, lil black book. Life begins and will end with that phone. Don't loose it. Life will stop till it's back in your hand. If it's gone for good, panic sets in. Gotta have that phone. Can't remember anybody's number. Can't do without it. It's part of life. Without it there is no life. Can ya dig it?

It doesn't have to be that way....resistance is NOT futile....we don't HAVE to be assimilated...we are far too dependent on these toys...one day someone will pull the plug and we'll be fish on the dock

Ahh but they are called mobile phones here.. so perhaps this means we don't accept we are prisoners to them :P

That's a good point.

I grew up in the 1950s and my mother shared a 2 party line like so many people did. Kids didn't have their own phone most of the time.

Mh, I'm not a slave of my phone, luckily. I don't need it so much.

Nor do I. I do not let the phone control or my life or interrupt conversations I have with others. I not prepared to be at someone's beck and call.

Yes, I understand. I lost my phone recently and it really messed up my life.

Lol lol😃😊😊
That is so true. And I’m not even sure when it happened. I’m not one of these kids who was waiting to get a phone—I was around 45 when I grudgingly bought my first “smart phone”.
