Can you open your heart for a stranger?

I think most people will be afraid of getting hurt, being manipulated and taken advantage of. I believe a genuinely open hearted act can transform other person, even if they are bad. How they say, at the time of death, people repent for wrong doings, i know that there is a space in everyones concsiousness that knows as to what is right and wrong, in stark contrast of absolute goodness people eventually will realize their wrongful acts.
Some great person said " those who live for others they alone live". Somehow i can relate that one selfless act fills my heart more than all the things i supposedly do for me and my family. If only we can consider this whole earth as our big family. Smile at random person. Make someones day. We wudnt be so pathetic any more. I guess we are taught all wrong concepts of life.

Did that once. Not doing it again.

I choose to just be within my parameters.

@Om2014 I'm not saying it's hard.

The thing is some people are messed up(messed up beyond repair). You can be nice, treat them with respect but no matter what you do they won't change. In my experience, I was manipulated a lot by my friends then in time I met a woman who I thought was good but she too was a mess.

I've learned this. Not all the people you meet in your life deserve your effort. It's best to not strangers at best. Yes I'm being too harsh but it's a weird world out there.

@Beatbox34 I just commented this here, that what matters more is what we feel as we act, kindness and love can fill oour empty hearts. if we can keep our fears aside then we will choose unconditional anyday. Im not Christian but when i think about Jesus, people cruicfied him still he chose to forgive them and wish them well, i certainly believe he was in much much more better state emotionally evenn though he went thru lot of physical pain. But it depends on individual how far can they go on this path, I believe Jesus was as much human as we are, just that we forgot how to live and how "mature", how much of a "human" we can be
