Are we messed up in our Heads?

Do you think we as a scoeity are in a really messed up state? Most essential things in life are most commonly available, we can survive without for a month and we dont need much money for food. Water, cant go without it for more than 1 week perhaps, its supposed to be freely available in rivers/streams. Air is the most essential and its free, and everywhere. Why so much struggle, chaos and unhappiness? I have not met a single grown up person around me who can say they are bursting with joy.

As of 2018, ~11 million households with children in the US are food insecure, and that's surely gotten much worse since, all while the luckiest in society sit on piles of cash that would literally reach to the Moon and back, were it denominated into bills. As for everyone else, I blame it on social media.

@BlueVeins Thats biggest failure of humanity right there. How can we sleep if our fellow travellers are feeling the pangs of hunger yet we choose to ignore it. I think we all can and shud do our bit.

Happiness is about so much more than survival. It's about fulfillment, feeling useful, and feeling appreciated. So many other things too, but those are a few.

@Angelwings89 Those are very solid thoughts! Everything here is in motion. Moving is existence, stillness is absolute. So yes i agree with you all the way, its not meant to be perfect. If mind had it all, it will cease to exist so will we (as human beings). But, lol i think we have been going backwards in terms of evolution, not as individuals but as society. Anyways a big change is under way i believe. :)

@Om2014 sometimes to take a step forward, you have to take two steps back. So many people don't like change. So they resist it, put up a fight to it. And that slows down progress. But eventually, hopefully anyway, enough people get on board and see that change is a good thing. And then we have positive change!

@Om2014 well I don't believe in multiverses without evidence but I agree arrogant indeed!
Instead of using technology to coexist with the planet and explore the planet and universes wonders, they use it to go after power, money, greed over resources, and dominate nature with their own arrogance as they kill the support systems that support them.
