I think that’s true. Being good looking benefits almost every single social interaction you have.

That's an interesting observation. Unfortunately, I do think there's aesthetic-preference profiling. I also think it's both natural (through a natural desire to procreate the species - equating good-looks with health, therefore producing healthy offspring) and acquired means (mostly through advertising - sexualizing people to sell a company's products). People are attracted to what they would consider to be good-looking people, and are probably kinder to them than they would be to those who are seen as not as attractive.

So, to answer your question; Yes, I think guys are generally nicer to pretty women. For the same reasons, I think women are nicer to good-looking guys.

That's called, "judging by looks" it's how racism is prevalent

Is it wrong? No. Not at all. Are guys only nice to pretty women? Some of us.

Some of us haven't realized how valuble even female friends are. I don't mind having lots of them myself because to be frank with you am already a bit of a feminist but also as far as dating is concerned I mean yeah it sucks when she doesn't like you back but guys who don't get it just lack something about them Idk what they just don't get that women are always on guard and have their backs up and having lots of female friends makes you look safer to be around and easier to talk to.

which increases your odds of actually getting a girlfriend/romantic partner/whatever terms you want to use. if it's a numbers game ultimately.

the smart ones are also observing our conduct towards the ones we don't find pretty....

I hate the term "ugly"in reference to looks - who gets to decide that? *sighs*
Why are they less fortunate based on looks?
They could be smart, kind, generous all things that have nothing to do with how a person looks.

Clearly this kind of stereotyping goes on in the world, and it goes both ways honestly. So it’s not “wrong” for you to perceive this. Many women are nicer to men that they find to be attractive as well. So it’s a two way street.

No, and no I don't guys are only nice to pretty women. I have no doubt though, that people in general are often treated better and differently based on their
attractiveness.

I find it easier to be nice to pretty people (or people I find attractive) but i’m not a cop and i’m not necessarily not nice to ugly people.

I'm fat, and I've noticed that people who are thin tend to be mean to fat people.

Sexual harassment guidelines have limited just how “nice” they’re allowed to be.
