I Want to Clear Out the Clutter In My Home

Me and my husband live in a two bedroom apartment. He is such a pack rat. He has his art, a sizeable rock collection, DVD and book collection. We also have a great deal of newspapers. It is overwhelming for my brain. It interfers with my concentration. It makes it hard to stay organized. I am self-employed and have difficulties getting projects done. I am not perfect myself but it feels more like a warehouse than a home. It's too much.....and we are going to have to down size. I do have items of sentimental value, but it is more about we have all of this stuff that we will not be able to recoup the costs. My husband would probably get back only a fraction of what he paid. This is why this process is so difficult.
