I Care About Homeless People

I found out my coworker was homeless. She'd been staying with a friend but that friend can no longer support her and now she has to go to a shelter. Me and my roommate's apartment can't fit another person in and even if we let her stay, she wouldn't have space or privacy for herself and I think that'd make her very stressed and uncomfortable.

Or am I wrong and I'm just overthinking things? Any ideas on how I can help?

Maybe she's being put out because she wasn't helping pay her fair share of her friend's rent and food and utilities bills .

Its nice to help people and to want to help people but some people are crooks and only take advantage of other people's generosity.

So be careful who you attempt to help

@YoMomma I know what you mean and I agree with you. It's just that it couldn't be helped if she couldn't pay her fair share. She's part-time and my boss gave her less hours throughout the summer and it really made her stressed and upset.

I just hope that shelter isn't one of those places that let the homeless stay at night but kick them out onto the street during the day. I don't think it's a fair thing to do to homeless people.
