I Hate People Who Make Fun Of Disabled Kids And Adults

Hate is not the word, really. It upsets me greatly, but I also try to look at it and say "Maybe the person doesn't understand." That is no excuse, but it is an explanation. There is research saying kids who bully often have their own issues that require intervention. We cannot tolerate bullying, but it's prevalence has decreased since it's taken the spotlight. That has to be considered a win.

On a second note: I have disabilities. I also majored in special ed, and can have a very dark sense of humor. :) It can be therapeutic to me, and I am not liable to be offended.

Thirdly- Though I am an advocate, and I will speak up if someone says something unnecessary or insulting. Not everyone understands humor, and therefore it can be hurtful.
