I Hate People Who Make Fun Of Disabled Kids And Adults

I’ve been victim to people because I’m disabled. Though, we are all an “easy target”, with the limp, the chair, etc. I always feel like there’s something wrong with them to be bullying me.

Screw them. They don’t know what it’s like to walk in my shoes. I find that most people are judgemental, which often leads to immaturity.

i teach young disabled kids and you know what? they are the most respectful kindest kids i’ve ever taught compared to community classrooms. there’s NO bullying. there’s no arguing with adults. there’s no entitlement issues. it’s been an absolute pleasure and i think more abled kids have a lot to learn from THEM!

@questionWeaver in most cases, children are more accepting of people who are disabled/different. It’s the adults around them that sway them in certain directions. Or give them situations to which they feel the need to take it out on others.

I’m a Momma, too, and I can’t tell you how many looks or “oh dears” I received when I was pregnant.

I get comments almost all the time when I’m out with my kid. Now, I can walk, but I walk with a limp and my arm seems to have a mind of its own.

Sadly, I’m afraid that my kid is going to be bullied because of me. That’s the society we live in!

I'm disabled, too. I wasn't bullied directly, but a friend of mine got bullied out of class. I've been accepted very well, but they didn't seem to accept a friendship with me.

@sighmeupforthat there are other complications. I’m in pain a lot, too, so I’ve been known to sit in a wheelchair

Anyone who does that is of very very low intelligence and maturity and poor self esteem. They are pitiful . 💚🌷
