I Notice The Weirdest Things
Men KNOW when I am in heat! The terminology may be a bit rudimentary, but I'm sure the imagery only enhances the point I am trying to make. When a female animal is susceptible to fertilization, the word commonly used to describe the time period as the animal's "heat"
I have been tracking my menstrual cycle for years now, even though I have an IUD, I just like to know things about myself... how my mind works, how my body operates, it's homeostasis, etc.
Things I noticed by keeping track: when my hormones make me emotional and cry a lot and when I get confrontational and aggressive. when I get cramps, bloat, get breast tenderness. When I am in heat, I smell different, much different! I look better, feel better and I become insatiable.
But I also noticed recently, that people behave much differently around me. People like my brother and my parents become overly protective, almost to the point of imprisonment! Men fall all over themselves trying to get my attention, and those who are usually mild mannered and respectful, end up smacking me on the ass And trying to take me home!
