I Have Had My Home Invaded By Ants
What to do when this happens-
Bring one cup of water to a rolling boil and remove from heat. Add one cup of sugar, stirring until dissolved.
To this add three to four tablespoonfuls of Borax powder (found in the laundry section of your local supermarket.) Stir to combine and put in a bottle or jar labeled "Ant Poison" (keep out of reach of pets and children.)
When you see ants coming into your home, shake the mixture until evenly suspended, pour a small amount onto a piece of aluminum foil or a cotton pad, and leave near where the ants are coming in so they can find it. They will eat the bait and take it back to the colony, feeding it to the queen and larvae. The ants should be gone in a day or two.
