Multiple people have asked, so here's my big thread of miniatures, models, and kits I build and paint.
First we have some Warhammer 40k models (previously featured)(I also have way more than this, but these are the best ones I've done):
Next we have the Battlestar Galactica. I like this one because a friend said they were impressed with how much I could do on a ship that is mostly gray.
Some Star Wars Rebel Fighters, a completed Y-Wing, and unfinished X-Wing and B-Wing.
Now we have some US Navy ships, the USS Iowa (BB-61), USS Lake Erie (CG-70), USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51), and USS Nevada (SSBN-733). Fun fact: With the exception of the submarine, I have stood on a ship of the same class for each of those.
Last we have the USS Enterprise E, probably my favorite Star Trek ship.
@tallpowerhouseblonde Thank you! Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good video game, but sometimes it's nicer to just make something you can display, instead of always watching a screen.
@FaeLuna Very true. There are a lot of techniques, practice, skill and the right tools all needed for building kits.Until people see them being painted and assembled they do not realise how much time and effort is needed to get a good end result.
@FaeLuna Can I have a model of the more advanced super secret space technology that crashed at area 51...thanks in advance....and a model of the Enterprise from Strange New Worlds.
@deadgerbil The Battleship New Jersey (Iowa class) was turned into a museum open to the public, and my dad was in the Navy, and thus had opportunities to bring family on board for certain special events.
