I Like Disney Movies
Have tti admit that Frozen 2 was bjeh.BUT Mary Poppins Returns was actually really good and reminded me of the original. I really want to reread the books now.

@Qwerty14 It's a direct story from the book series sonof course it's going to be similar in some ways. Original is usually always best but I loved it. The acting was stage voiced like the original. The plot was eh tho.
@HorrorshowHijabi It wasn't that direct. They took elements of the second and third books and then just put them into a generic story that mirrored the first. All the songs were just bad ripoffs of the first. I think Travers was right to not let Disney make any more. She herself didn't even like the first one. I recommend anyone wanting another Mary Poppins film to instead watch Saving Mr Banks. That's a great film.

I hear that a lot. Frozen 2 was good, but not as good as the first. More like a cash-grab than anything.

@raysam363 The plot felt sped up. Like when you hear a son6 that's a little too fast and something's off but not TOO off that you can realize it at first. And Anna's boyfriend whatshisface was simping the whole time.
