filthy Rich

I have good reason for resenting the rich .I came from a family who were fairly wealthy so have seen how both halves live .I always felt we were a fairly close family till my brother started earning silly amounts of money and bought his own home 2 brand new cars sent my niece and nephew to posh private schools etc and started drifting away from the family .
I havnt seen the family since the kids were toddlers as my brother thinks he is too good for us .I hate what money has turned him into .He is exactly like my dad something I swore I would never be .I accept people for who they are not what they have . I have no time for snobbery at all .Neither my ex wife or my present wife came from rich families and I have few friends that are wealthy either .If anything people that show off their wealth makes me avoid them .
I have only had one wealthy friend , he was a farmer I got to know as I went fruit picking on his farm .He drove a banger pick up and was so down to earth and a lovely guy .If you didnt know him personally you would never have known he was well off .
