I Understand The World More Than The World Understands Me
I'm slowly understanding human nature more and more. Still have a lot of culture shock even after all these years but able to handle them much better these days than I used to.
But I've come to understand that sometimes a person will so hate themselves, their life, situation, whatever it is so much that they will strike out. They'll flail and lash towards anyone around them and tear down whatever they can find in that person: their looks, emotions, faith,family....anything. At the same time they'll make excuses for their behavior, even to the point of trying to guild their own problems. Convince themself they're happy when inside they're miserable.
One must fight against people that will so happily steal their joy. Keep strong in your self and your faith and whom you are. Let God deal with people that are running from Him and not worry about what they think of you.
Not easy. But it's so much better to have sympathy for someone who tears at others because they're broken.
