DrWatson · 70-79, M
@Majorlatency She hands out business scrolls!
Inanna · 22-25, F
@DrWatson @Majorlatency I normally only go by my 2 personal names and family name
@Inanna That would be three names minimum... Are they incredibly long names?
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency No they are quite short names
@Inanna well then your business card would be relatively normal size..

Mind you if you're a genius with lots of letters after your name your card might be getting on the larger than normal size!

@Majorlatency After i finish my degree i could have something like Sra. Eng. before my name
@Inanna Forgive me for asking, what type of engineering study is SRA please?
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency Sra isn't a type of degree is an abbreviation for Senhora or lady in english. If i was a man it would be Sr for senhor
@Inanna Ah yes.. So what type of degree are you pursuing. Just genuinely interested..
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency Biomedical
@Inanna When I left the military I got involved with diagnostic imaging. I have my own company now focused to medical devices. You have made a great career choice! If you ever have any questions feel free to ask..
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency I was thinking of nano tech stuff. But my plans change, my idea was to end my master, grab bf and leave the country but my family convince me to stay so i will just end my master and probably no do anything with it.
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency Btw i have a bunch of classmates that love the imaging part of the degree and want to work in it, not a bad idea for sure
@Inanna not do a thing with it! It's the best area. Constantly evolving. MRI, CT, Nuclear, x-ray and ultrasound always developing and introducing new enhancements. Great job security as well. You may also want to consider working for one of the large imaging companies like GE, Siemens, Philips etc. With a Masters you could secure a service management role etc.
Think about it. Diagnostic Imaging is a massive growth area, people are always going to get sick, get your foot in the door and you could develop a long term career path..
Inanna · 22-25, F
@Majorlatency I know all of that, it was kinda my plan but i will end up staying and help manage what my family has. Either way i will end up with a management role just not in the area of my degree
@Inanna Damn! We need more women in biomedical engineering.. Good luck with your endeavors and make sure you finish your degree..!
