Situation that happened:
Girl asking for someone- Hey guys have you seen *other girl who has my name*
Guy who was in my class- no there are no *my name*'s in this class
Girl- um, there's one behind you dude
Guy turns around and sees me
Guy to me- Oh *laughs* it's just that you're [b]so[/b] quiet

*sigh*
You'd think I'm mute but I actually talk a lot with my friends

Oh this is actually painful to read, because I heard all of that so many times, so it brings back memories. And at least you can be really open and talkative with your friends. I'm usually good at talking one on one, but when it's 3 or more, I feel like it always ends up them talking between each other and I'm just sitting there "being a good listener" >.>
And then when they run out of stuff to talk about and there instills a bit of a quiet in the room, one of them would always turn at me and put me in that awkward situation where the whole "keeping up the convo going" is weighed on me, with the words: "Dan, now you say something" or "Dan, why are you so quiet? say something". Like wtf should I say? it's quiet in the room and everyone is looking at me expecting magic to pour out of my ears and my mouth.
Oh sorry for the rant, but I needed to get it off my chest at some point, so I felt like this was the perfect opportunity.

This rude girl in high school complained once that the teacher moved her friend and now she didn’t have anyone to talk to. Another girl said “You’ve got *My Name*!” Then the rude one went, “She doesn’t ever talk. She’s mute!” 🙄
