I Am Moving On
At about 4:30 this morning I started to feel ridiculously productive. So I cleaned my room.. it's kind of weird because that room is essentially what I lived in for the majority of my life- when my mom and I didn't get along. I was a little tempted to attach a picture of what I still have to clean but no one needs to see that.
Anyway.. when my brother leaves for school I'm going to vacuum what's left. Then I'll clean the food off of the walls, and get all the blood I can out of the carpet. I already took apart an old, ugly shelf, so in that empty space goes all the boxes my dads wife decided to suddenly drop off at my moms place. A lot of my blinds were broken as well, so thank God for ductape, amiright?
Anyway.. I guess the reason I'm posting this under this group is that that bedroom is what holds the worst of my childhood memories. I mean.. it's not like the house as a whole is much better physically. Countless stains on the floors, holes in the wall. My ceiling fan and the one in the living room don't even work.
But the other rooms in the house hold fonder memories, you know? Like accidentally spraying carrots on the kitchen ceiling because no one thought to put the top on the blender. Or showing my friend Eileen how to catch lizards, then nothing short of horror taking place when one of the little dudes jumped on her shirt in the dining room (which was all for show, by the way, we've never once eaten in there). Playing video games and wrestling Tyler- my best friend at the time- in the living room. Even just sliding down the staircase in buckets and sleeping bags with my cousins.
I don't know. If you've read this far, good vibes to you. The thing about SW is that no one seems to read the longer stories (myself included, honestly). Kind of miss EP in that aspect. I'm not even going to proof-read this.
I guess the bottom line is it's nice to move on.
