What does the other person see when you block them?
I know they can't see your profile anymore but if you have exchanged messages on here what would they see? Like would they still be able to see the messages?

To make it clearer, from the point you block them and afterwards nothing. Before that you can view pretty much everything.
The sticky point is while you can not PM them you can reply on an old reply. They won't be notified though.

They'll see a notice that they aren't allowed to contact you, and don't try to do so via an alternate account or something like that.
