I Try to Be Consistent

You got to love people that are consistent.
Specially when they are in politics! It kinda goes against most political objectives, because politicians need to adapt and be pragmatic. But certain people are idealists and believe what they stand for. So does John Bolton, a guy that... no matter where you look, will always tell you the same Neo-Conservative ideas. (Just look him up on youtube, his story has been the same for years) He's pretty open about it and believes in his ideals.

This might be problematic tough... because again, in politics, pragmatism is needed to squirm your way out of stuff. But good old John is an idealist! Which creates problems for those that want to squirm there way out of stuff.
WASHINGTON — President Trump told his national security adviser in August that he wanted to continue freezing $391 million in security assistance to Ukraine until officials there helped with investigations into Democrats including the Bidens, according to an unpublished manuscript by the former adviser, John R. Bolton.
What this means for the future? Well... We'll see. 🤷‍♂️

For those that still believe in this idealistic dream that Trump always tells things just as they are...
“The problem with John is it’s a national security problem,” Mr. Trump said at a news conference in Davos, Switzerland. “He knows some of my thoughts. He knows what I think about leaders. What happens if he reveals what I think about a certain leader and it’s not very positive?”

“It’s going to make the job very hard,” he added.
Because Trump isn't an idealist... Trump is a politician.

@Burnley123 Those last two words have a tough time going together tough... 😅

@Kwek00 It's about balance. Radical enough to make a difference but not so radical you put people off. Bernie Sanders or the labour 2017 manifesto.
