I Am Sick of Politics

I think after every term of a President/Prime Minister/other elected leader is over (like every four or five years) there should be about a year or two with no politics, no political leaders, no boring laws. Just give us time to recover from the bullshit of our last leader.

After we split up from our boyfriend/girlfriend, we like to have some time single to recover before jumping straight into a new relationship, do why can't we do the same with our elected leaders?
