Have you ever been hit by scammers?

An elderly neighbour of mine told me about a call he had from fraudsters threatening him with arrest if he didn't pay thousands in tax. Fortunately, he was savvy enough not to fall for this scam after speaking to his son. HMRC (UK Revenue & Customs) would only call you on a debt you are already aware of, but the poor guy was very shaken up by it.

There's a guy on TikTok who brings scammers to court. He's got a video where he asks the scammer to Google his name and then tells the scammer to go to his legal department and get the legal dept to get in touch with him.

I recently had a phone call similar to that one, saying I "was under arrest" and kept saying they "were coming to get me". I listened to maybe five minutes without comment, then hung up. Don't fall for this!

@SW-User I keep them on the line as long as possible. They usually tell me to F O in the end.
