I Drown Myself In Music

Glenn Gould, the one Canadian i am most proud of bookended his recording career with Bach's Goldberg Variations, this is the 1981 version, more contemplative, and slower than the 1955 one, and i like it better, the other day when i couldn't sleep, i just let it play while lying down, ... Bach composed it for an insomniac too, some rich noble lord i think by the name of Goldberg, ... as a music lover, it is good that it doesn't succeed in making the listener fall asleep, would be a crying shame to miss those last 3 or 4 variations, great build up! *_*
