Hello I am 18, live at home and have to wear short trousers. I think i'm too old but my parents disagree

I have to clean and tidy my room, then we are going shopping at 4pm(I'm not allowed to stay home alone). Dad will inspect my room and me!! Have to be smartly dressed to go out.
