I Worry About My Health

I had to pull over on the highway yesterday. I had intense pressure in my temples. It felt like I was getting squeezed with a vice. It was two distinct back to back episodes and although they each only lasted a few seconds they left me slightly nauseous and chest pressure and fatigue for several hours.
I wouldn’t share this except on an anonymous site but I was scared and definitely scared to drive. I’ve had an aortic valve replacement and an ablation to cure A-fib so a trip to doctor or ER would have meant a lot of fuss and I knew it wasn’t heart. (Rate was low and steady).
I feel great today and had a great day coaching my team on a day when they ran great, but I am worried it’s going to happen again. I am surrounded by people who care and shouldn’t worry. Definitely need to quit stressing about it.

i don't wanna give you health advice, but my first thought was migraine. i think everything but the chest pressure sounds like that, but with your history you know you should report this to your doctor, even if it never happens again. it could be anything, or nothing serious. it's hard to know. but you're right, you should keep your stress about it in check. chances are, you're okay, if it was transient. just get some peace of mind by consulting your doc.

@SW-User hmm. Would migraine be that short of duration? And your advice is appreciated.

@trackman11 there are all types of migraines, and this is the time of year when they are most prevalent, be it spring or fall. i was thinking the chest pressure was a mini-anxiety reaction to the pain and nausea, because you were driving. but it's best analyzed by a professional. i would just take good care until then, by you know... staying hydrated, and eating regularly, and resting adequately.

@SW-User thank you. I didn’t know that about migraines but whether that’s it or not it gives me something to talk about rather than trying to describe this.
Have a great night and I do appreciate your time and words.
