I Saw a Homeless Person

Look. It's a struggle. I get it. But I get inundated with people asking me for money and cigarettes EVERY single day. Especially at the gas stations. They won't/can't do anything about it. It sucks. I want to go in for a piss and a coke and I get ppl asking me for my hard earned money that I need to pay my bills. I live in virtual poverty myself. If I gave my shit to everyone else, where would that leave me????

There will be homeless and hungry people as long as society remains UNcivilized. Most Metropolises are primitive. The advancement of technology and the ability to use it does not mean we are civilized. For everything technology gives us, it takes twice as much away. If you cannot help the situation, you cannot help. At least have compassion and empathy. That is the HUMAN thing to do. I grew up in San Francisco. 500+ homeless in one square mile. Primitive.
@RenaissanceMan yeah. Been there. San Francisco is bad.
