I love getting compliments. They can really turn a day around for me. Just knowing someone thought something looked good on me, or a physical trait of mine. I also love compliments about who I am as a person!

its certainly not. but i think alot of guys don't get that many compliments so they take that as being hit on. which in most cases isn't something the woman was intending. its a vicious cycle

It is not wrong at all. Beauty is complimented everywhere. It's natural process.

I get complimented on that all the time. I just assume they want me to pay for the pizza.
