In a "Mental Hospital"a journalist asks the Doctor:How do u determine whether to admit a patient or not? Dr:"Well,we fill a bathtub with water and then give the patient; (a) a teaspoon, (b) a glass, (c) a bucket, and ask them to empty the bathtub." Journalist:"Oh,so a normal person would use the bucket because it's the biggest." Dr:"No,a normal person would pull the drain plug!Please go to bed No.39.We will start investigations on u too!" 😀😀You also thought of the bucket,didn't you?Please go to bed No.40!!😝

I was not bitter though and they don't always really make you but have rules that end up getting you to agree.

@Teachocolate: I haven't been in a full-scale mental hospital, but I have been in the psych wards of regular hospitals more than once. You get treated like a cross between an idiot child and a rabid coyote.

@Teachocolate: in those places they have clothes people do not even know exists like adult jumpsuits that zip up the back that can only be unzipped by someone other than the patient.

@Subsumedpat: I think that have their own reasons for the zip on the back..maybe they had seen enough n decided to make it harder to for the patient to expose themselves :)

That is one reason, control is another. If you have that on and can't take it off the diapered solution to being declared a fall risk is a done deal.

@SW-User Yea, fall risk or if you get put in restraints or a strait jacket the diapers have to go on too.
