I Had a Bad Experience

I walked into the card store around the corner from me, wasn’t in there for more than a minute & the guy kicked me out & literally said:
“ African American, no parent get out “.
Of course I was nice & controlled myself not to say anything so, I walked a few blocks, called my uncle told him what happened. He went in there & told her he has no right to talk to me that way & that I’m a respectful, responcable shopper. We reported him too.

CEOs all over the country are now getting training on how to publicly apologize for their employee's behavior. Why don't they just train them correctly in the first place.

@MikeSp CEO's are telling people what they want to hear to shut them up. How could you ever train employee's that don't give a crap. to not offend everyone that is looking to be offended.

I bet we are not hearing the rest of the story her and wonder if what was said was the truth?

@bigjohndl I didn't say all CEOs or all employees. There are always going to be the untrainable for whatever reasons. I do agree that there are people who feel entitled and like to be offended, however, there was nothing in her post to indicate she is like that. The store guy obviously has had trouble with young people in the past, but not all misbehave.

Who did you report him to? Why would you want to shop anywhere that did not want you as a customer?
