I didn’t know where to post this question lol

Does anyone have any advice for beginning streamers? The idea of streaming on twitch has entertained me for a long while but I’m not quite sure if I got everything. I’ve been watching some videos but if anyone has any input I would appreciate. To start: I don’t have a whole pc setup but I do have a MacBook for the time being, which I hear works to start out as well... I have camera, some camera lights that I can work with but what else do I need? I’m not sure if a regular old camera will do because I’ve heard people mention actual webcams (which I’m leaning toward getting.) and also a good mic. I am looking into streaming digital art but am open to playing video games on stream for fun since I like to do that too from time to time. Save the judgment, I’m new to all this. But recommendations are appreciated :)
