I Was Sexually Abused By My Cousin When I Was A Kid

It has infected my life. 20 years later I am having to fight my unhealthy coping mechanisms in an attempt to move on. Sometimes I wish I had never remembered the repressed events. Other times, I know it’s for a reason.

Have you figured out why already?
I don’t mean to be rude. I was abused by my cusin too and most times I feel I should do something, there must be a reason Why we remember it right?
