I Want to Ask Out a Girl I Like

Well today I worked up the courage to ask this cool chick out, who I’ve known for a while and she was very rude with how she rejected me. She said that I don’t have the type of looks that she is looking for and that she is also seeking to date someone within her ethnicity. This really killed my day but oh well, you move on and don’t look back :/
It’s fair to say I’m not going to talk to her again 👍

Sad you had to realize her true nature in such a cutting way.
Rejection is difficult enough, without delivering it with cruel savagery.
Though - her loss, your gain. Had you begun dating, in-time the real woman would've surely appeared; trampling on your heart and its honest devotion, like something stuck to her shoe.

Very impressed with your attitude and perspective, in using this as a stepping stone in growth and personal character. And your resolve in the face of absolute humiliation.
Unsure if many could have been so noble.
