I Believe In the Bible As the Word of God

I believe in the bible story about Daniel in the lions den! One day a few years back when my twins were 12 years old along with their BFF cousin. They were walking along a meadow when they saw a cat up in a tree! So they got closer turns out it was a Cougar! They were throwing rocks and sticks at the Cougar as it watched them from up in the tree! Little did those kids know of the danger they were in! But by the grace of God the cougar left the kids alone, and they walked back home to tell the tale! I said there are no Cougars in this region they must be telling me fibs! The next week on the front page news of our local newspaper was a picture of the cougar shot dead in the box of my neighbors pickup truck and it was a massive kitty! I apologized to the kids for not believing them! They could have been mauled and killed! But by the grace of God our kids were safe! The cougar probably ate just before it’s encounter with the kids! Just like Daniel in the lions den!
