@Pretzel I go to church and our pastor says we get the leader we deserve, and all we can do is take a stand and pray. No politics in the sanctuary!

So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brothers. When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they declared all that God had done with them. @puck61 Thank for sharing this.

Question for you: If your family is separated and are not of faith, what would you do?

I have a child who is an adult now but does not believe due to the other parent's and friends beliefs.

I worry daily about the Scripture:
1 Timothy 5:8 ESV / 603 helpful votes
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
@Iwillwait Yeah, it seems like a lot of people put their mothers and fathers in homes and forget about them. I've seen it when I worked as a CNA. It's sad because these people always seem so sweet and caring themselves. I used to see God in their eyes and it was hard not to cry when I held their hands.
@Iwillwait In answer to your question, I would simply try to behave in a way that might show them the grace of God. People would much rather see a sermon than hear one. I am a wretched sinner by nature, and it's only by the grace of God that I can do anything right.

@puck61 Great advice. Thank you.
