You're at a park and see a little kid fall and start crying, her parents didn't see.

@smiler2012 I think some bad individuals have sabotaged the whole society's mentality. Most people intend well, but I wouldn't blame parents for being "over protective".

Just get the parents attention so they can help, as long as it's nothing serious. As an old man in the park, I don't want to get too close to kids unless it's an emergency...not going to look good.
Pink I was on vacation at Panama City beach when parents left their 3 kids under 10 unattended near a campfire. They threw an aerosol can into it and exploded and caused burns over his stomach. I almost got myself arrested because she didn't care and the kid had flesh hanging off and she wasn't gonna take him in. Some of the other parents there and the workers called anyway. That bitch should have lost those kids.

My first reaction would be to alert the parents, but I would not admonish them. they have to focus on the kid, and they should not be distracted by some passerby criticizing them. Parents cannot catch everything.
depends on how hurt the kid is.
But admonish the parents? That's very short sighted.

[c=#003BB2]I think the majority of us would go and see if the kid is ok because they could have seriously injured themselves. I think its natural instinct to run to the child and offer help until the parents are able. I am not sure if I would admonish the parents because they could have turned there backs for a second. Very interesting post thou[/c]
It's a kid, I'll help out as soon as I can.
[c=#BF0080]I had this happen to me last summer. The girl fell hard.. you could hear the thud. I ran to her asking if she was okay. The parents noticed and came over. I'm pretty sure she broke her leg. It was messed up. [/c]
I want to say I'd rush to see if they're alright but it would depend on my mood. Probably half the time I'd do that and the other half I'd pretend I didn't see it and hate myself for a few days 😒
I'm a mother, I'd rush to make sure the child isn't seriously hurt and take them to their parents and suggest they pay a little better attention.

None of the above...I'd get the parents attention if they weren't aware...I would rather not touch a strange kid considering the environment these days.

Make sure the child is alright and alert the parents.
smiler2012 · 56-60
madeleine I think if it was anyone who fell you would ask if they where alright man or child but I am sad to say people can be a little funny about getting involved with there kids even if the situation needed i would certainly shout to the child is it alright I can understand from some parents aspect as there are some strange people about far as children go

@pinkrainbowkisses Poor kid.
Fernie · F
@Madeleine..it really is
Cosreal · 36-40
just watch. if it's not serious why do anything. People fall, they get back up again. I don't coddle my kids every time they have an ouchie.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@Fernie It's unfortunate.
