Do you like the state you live in?

I like California in terms of our politics. I don't really like it in terms of the weather or the lack of four seasons. I don't like our wildfires or the fact that the power in my neighborhood gets shut off every time it gets even remotely windy due to wildfire risk (even though we've never experienced any wildfires in my particular area). I don't like that we are constantly in a drought because it never rains. So I have my annoyances with the state, most of them not being within the state government's control. I'd want to remain in a blue state no matter what, but maybe just not California anymore. I'm thinking I would be happier in Washington or Oregon. Or somewhere in the northern East Coast. That would probably be more my scene than SoCal.

I used to live on the East Coast, but I have lived in Minnesota since 1980.

I figure a blizzard is easier to recover from than a hurricane.

Missouri(Kansas City) since 2007. Lived in WI for 48 yrs. Love living here

Kansas is actually pretty decent from a “road trip anywhere” kind of standpoint.

It's lovely and the car people have to keep killing it, like all the other US states. No life must be left standing! America first, work ethic and all, you know. Minnesota and Florida are great for fascists.

😳. MInnesota is God’s country! Outside of the cold and mosquitoes and tornados life is perfect here! 😊 FL is great to visit in February!

I change states every 3 to 6 months usually. So if I don't like where I am at, just wait and I will somewhere else shortly.

Eh. Beaches, tropical weather, year long sun, yes. Hurricanes, gators as neighbors, Amazonian insects, not so much.

No, getting tired of it. On the other hand we have a great governor that has really fought hard for us. For that reason I am staying.

Love TN. It’s good for outdoorsy ppl Mild winters, river fishing, mountains,lax gun laws, no authoritarian covid measures.

I agree. I love in MN too and winter sucks here. I love our Spring, Summer, and Fall. Florida sounds much better.

I live in Florida and don't really like it. Far too hot most of the year. State government is way too conservative for my taste. And people aren't really as friendly down here as they tend to be in other parts of the country.

I'm in florida and want to move to Washington State in a couple of years.

It's ok. Not a fan of the dick in charge right now, but that will change at some point.
