I Want to Dye My Hair

It has been on my mind all year, I want to try all kinds of colors from crazy to casual. After 6 long months of consideration I settled on a brand and started telling everyone about it. At first all I got was praise and even a couple you go girls but then my mother gave me her 2 cents. She said: I think you may want to slow down on dying your hair. I did when I was a teen and it had me f#cked up for 2 months and wasn't even my color. What was I thinking a black women my color going caramel? Then I tried it again in college and it f#cked me up even more. I just thought I'd tell you since you are my child you might be allergic to but I hope it goes well.
Even after hearing this I still want to give it ago but afraid that could be me to.

to check for allergies - do a patch test before you color. put a little of the color on the inside of your elbow. if you develop a rash, then you are allergic. besides that, playing with your hair color can be fun. beware of going light then dying dark again. once you dye it back to dark it is really hard to get rid of the color without destroying your hair.
