I’m sorry you had to go through this. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Even if you hated them. There’s lots of feelings...loss, anger, loneliness, anger again, and a feeling of failure. My advice would be 1) get group counseling to hear what others are going through, 2) maybe get personal
Counseling - we learn a lot about what not to repeat and our patterns, 3) let yourself express your grief, 4) explore new activities or hobbies. One other thing is that you’ll likely lose married friends and will have to find single friends. I hate that part. Good luck and remember to take care of yourself. 🤗

Keep reaching for good-feeling thoughts. Feel your freedom. Think of the fun things you're going to do now that you have your freedom.

This too shall pass. In time, the feelings you have now will be gone and you will have moved on. It’s just too fresh.

I'm very sorry to hear. Sometimes the things in life that are best for us end up hurting the most.

For starters, it will hurt for a bit even if it was inevitable. That's just the connection part. Keep occupied and try new things.

@ExperienceDLT that’s not going to happen

@Girlmom02 well that is your choice but you learn that the more you care in life the more you get hurt

It's tough and therefore a time to be incredibly gentle with yourself
