I Have Had a Great Week

I am in college. I applied for the RA (resident assistant) job, which is being in charge of a floor of people and helping them feel at home. I had about 6 friends who applied for the RA job with me. I got put on the alternate list, while every one of them got put on a staff. It didn't really feel good to be the only one left out, but I was happy for them. Then I got my first good news, although I wasn't put on staff for RA, they selected me to be a part of their CL (community leader) pilot program, where I would be working beside the RAs, so excited! I also applied for the CA (conference ambassador) job, which is for over the summer and its basically the same as the RA, but over the summer and it is not all students you will be in charge of. I applied for this with 3 of my friends, two of them got the job and the other was put on the alternate list but had got the RA job. I also got put on the alternate list for this job; I was still a little sad about this because they all got at least one of the jobs they wanted. Well, I got a call yesterday that said they had a position open up for the CA job and that they want me! So So excited! I have been elated all night. The only bit of bad news I had this week was that I couldn't register for classes for next semester because I have a loan that I need to finish paying, but it's only $500 left to pay and if my job would catch up on the paychecks I could have already paid it. But that's my week, I felt like such a great week that I feel like I need to give back, so I volunteered to help clean up the campus today. I'll tell you if anything else happens. Thanks for reading.
