I never use the facility but I imagine Android is compatible with Chromecast but iPhone has its own competing system.

@SW-User I can imagine that would be too slow to stream tv shows on..I have prepaid T-Mobile

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I understand it won't give me free internet. HOWEVER, If I were able to cast tv shows from my phone, I could download shows to my phone using public WiFi, then cast to the tv..THAT would be free...

@rosyhills ah, you're dealing with a quota, is that it? I think the sluggishness of public wi-fi might strain your patience. Also, for the limited bandwidth plans, they sometimes have times of day when the quota doesn't apply

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I'm dealing with limited finances and if I can get tv(internet) for super cheap or free, that's what I want
