I Hate Fake Profiles

I think I've fallen victim to a fake profile. I stood up for this person but now after doing some research it appears that their entire profile is just a Web of fantasy and lies.
I don't understand why anyone would do this and they obviously don't care about how their deceit can impact on others.
I think that it maybe time to leave Similar Worlds. I like it here and many people have shown me much support but now I realise that I am maybe too fragile for this site and I don't know who I can trust on here anymore

How can you decipher they are fake and how can you judge when you have no idea in the first place. No need to be sad for them maybe this is their fantasy and their outlet. They have a right to it.
